周秋文：安龙县的这些山体属于喀斯特地貌，形成这些山的岩石是距今约2亿多年前（三叠纪早至中期）的白云岩，这种岩石是在海洋环境下形成的，当时整个贵州大部分区域都在海底。这些白云岩是在海洋环境下由水中溶解的矿物质重新结晶形成的。由于气候、地质构造等环境因素发生周期性变化，使得岩石形成过程反复中断后又重新开始，所以形成的岩石表现出明显的分层特征。
